For Mother's Day we went on a Riedl family hike through Washington Park. The Hoyt Arboretum was beautiful. Many different species of trees and wildlife.Trails that wind up and down through the west hills display a variety of scenery. One minute you are looking over treetops at Mt. St. Helens and the next minute you are crossing a footbridge over a little stream under the canopy of redwoods.
Great for a quick, peaceful day hike, it was perfect for a day focused on Mom!
